I'm having issues with a new to me Excel PMC5v20T. I believe the tool macros are not present. Does anyone have a copy of the original macros or even suggestions on how to write new ones. The front panel controls will rotate the pots, and move the pot out/in but tool arm isn't working. Should I see the programs in the program list or are they hidden? The machine has a Fanuc 0-m. I do have a parameter backup but no tool change macros are saved if there are any.

Beg's mentioning, since Van BC hinted at Archiving Solutions.
Oldest trick for young players is phase rotation. Never discount it just because your axis jog's the right direction, when you push the Z - button. Vast majority of servo drives don't care about phase rotation.
In this case ATC drum, hydro, coolant, swarf all work wrong.
