Machine was running fine yesterday than all of a sudden it stopped in the middle of a job the operator left it so i could check it out. I took it to home position and it was all loopy.. It went to the far left corner which it isnt suppose to do that and then I jogged to the correct home position but the X-Axis keeps on moving all by its self which is crazy! whichever direction I make it go it keeps going without stopping..

Im hoping its an easy fix and not the motor.. I already replaced the Z axis motor twice in a year.

Looking for help.

Thank you.

AC or DC machine???

Does it run away like a rocket, or does it just slowly drift off?

Have you gone through the trouble shooting chart in the manual?? And
by that I mean.. Did you start at the beginning where it says to CHECK
YOUR VOLTAGES!!!!!

90+% of all oddball Fadal issues, in my experience, come back to that stupid
power supply, and oddball voltages.

A broken resolver coupling can do that so can a short in your x wire. Fadal put the wire for x motor basically with a waterproof cover inside the enclosure to be hit with chips. When it cracks it exposes the wires and the motor to coolant and chips.
