What is the parameter to enable macro sharing between head 1 and head 2 on a fanuc 0-TT control? I do not have the manual. Some research showed that it might be parameter 0218, but that does not appear to work. Thanks

The parameters in our 18i controllers for variable sharing states (right out of the book):

6036 - Number of custom macro variables common to tool path (#100's)
[Example]
When this parameter is set to 10, the custom macro variables are specified as follows:
Custom macro variables 100 to 109 : Used commonly between two paths.
Custom macro variables 110 to 149 (199): Used independently for each path.

6037 - Number of custom macro variables common to tool path (after #500's)
[Example]
When this parameter is set to 10, the custom macro variables are specified as follows:
Custom macro variables 500 to 509 : Used commonly between two paths.
Custom macro variables 510 to 549 (999): Used independently for each path.

You can check parameters 6036 and 6037, see if they contain zeros or not. Personally, if you're not in a hurry, I'd wait for Bill to chime in. He'll know if the 18i and your O-TT are the same.
