Hey all,
Recently reloaded parameters in an old Makino. Up and running fine but while jogging it around, I realized the display on the screen reads half of actual movement of the axis.

If screen shows a .010" move, the dial indicator shows .020" worth of move. This was never an issue before, and is now an issue on only the X and Y axis. I assume it's some sort of parameter but....any help?

Also, the MPG handheld increment selector seems to have mixed itself up. Switch position labeled "X1" moves in .001" increments while "X10" moves on .0002 increments.

Neither were an issue prior to reloading parameters. Any ideas or input?

Thanks!

Double check your settings of parameters....
4 and 5 bits 4,5, and 6.
35 bit 7.
37 bits 0, and 1.
100
101

There may be Diagnostic parameters that affect the handwheel. Those are determined by the machine builder, not Fanuc, so I can't point you to specific addresses to check.

That was it! 4 and 5 were both off....was late that night. Lol.
Diagnostics were off a bit too. Fixed them and the handwheel is now correct also.
I should have known to double check parameters.

Thanks for your help!
