This morning one of the machinists broke a glass work light cover while replacing a bulb and I'm hoping for a lead on a source to purchase a replacement cover. I don't want to call Mazak on this and I'm hoping for a replacement that's...not glass?

Do you happen to know the thread information on it? It looks like the globe itself is pretty much standard but the thread is where they burn you. Obviously mines a little bit broken so I'm having trouble getting a measurement.

The lamp looks like Waldmann AWDCE 118. The cover is made from borosilicate glass, not sure if they offer any other materials.

There are electric light fixtures with a generic name of "Jelly Jar". Maybe one would fit?
I would be inclined to use an LED bulb, silicon bag, zip ties. Silicon bags are used for Sous Vide and not a lot of money.

What I did was put one of these types of outdoor LED flood lights in the back of mine above the tailstock. 120V so I just plug it in the wall and not the machines power. There are some brands of truck flood LED lights that will work on 12-24V though that could likely use the machines output.
