New conundrum with our Doosan S310SMLY.
I haven't ever played with the Y axis offsets before, so they probably weren't working right when we got the machine.
There is an second offset screen that contains the Y axis offsets, labelled Ofst.2 on it's softkey, accessed by pressing the offset/setting key and paging right a couple of times until the softkey is visible.
It has wear and geometry screens just like the normal offset screen, has the same 99 offsets, and the column is labelled Y.
However, any values put in here offset the E axis (live tool/turret servo). Using the measure softkey and it is obviously measuring from the E axis as well. It doesn't do any harm, the turret won't index until you clear it again.
Any clues how to remedy this?
Thanks, Gregor
Edit: Nevermind I found it. Param 5004 bit 7 toggles the Y axis offset value between the 3rd or the 4th axis. No idea why it might have been changed.
