simple file transfer by rs232 serial port connection with a null modem serial cable can be done with the free edytornc software.

you will need serial port communication parameters for cnc and adjust computer to match. you will need to know how to get cnc in receiving mode. some software it is not called file transfer but called simply send and receive usually the file currently displayed.
