I recently put in an M116(by accident)instead of m119(sub collet open)I guess M116 is for orientation of the subspindle.Anyways my spindle locked up, so I put in M117(subspindle ornt. off)
It didnt unlock the spindle.Called a tech and he told me I also needed an M121 to unlock the spindle and then he started goin' on about M300's to position the spindle. The M121 worked but I checked all my manuals and the m-code list ends w/M119.Why dont I have ALL the m-codes for this machine?Does anyone have a list of M-codes that goes beyond M119?Machine is a 2003 KIA Superturn 15-LMS-Fanuc Oi-T control.

    Thanks

Kia should have provided them, after all they implemented the M codes, call them and make sure they send them to you..for free! (if noone else here has the list for you)

Sometime the machine tool builder will put in certain M codes for maintenance or for field testing purposes, If this is the case, They may feel that listing them in the manual may cause them to be used in a program etc, causing drastic results.
