I am having chip control issues using a G76 thread cycle. I'm using a Fanuc oi-tf control on a new Samsung lathe. I'm used to the 2 line G76 code programming. In the programming book that came with the machine, it is showing a single line G76 code programming. I'm trying to get to use the Both-edge zigzag thread cutting feature, but I'm a beginner machinist, and the language used in the book pretty difficult to understand. Can anybody explain how to use the single line G76 thread cycle for the oi-tf control in simple language that I would be able to understand?
