Grind a 50 Taper holder to a 40 Taper

What's your opinion:
Is it possible to take a Cat50 tool holder and grind the taper to a Cat40 (or 40NT,etc..) taper ?

I know it probably depends on the rockwell, etc... of the 50 taper holder but "in general" is it feasible ?

Cost or time estimate ?

You could probably do it, but why?

I just bought 31 Collis Cat40 holders new for an average of about $60 ea.

Because it's a Kwik Switch 300 adapter, not just a single tool holder... Doesn't look too feasible though.

try these guys and see if they have something. If not, go to either Parlec or Collis and have one made.
