Heidenhain -stop spindle if machine limits out

Last night we had one of our Heidenhain equipped machines hit a limit and it set all night with the spindle running. Is there a way to have the spindle stop if the machine does not show activity for a set amount of time?

I won't be too much help because I don't know how to do it, but on our Heidenhain control, if the spindle runs for around 6 minutes without any axis movement it will stop. I know this can be set in the parameters because it gave me grief at first when I did a tool warm up cycle in between programs. I do not know how to do it myself. You will have to wait for someone more familiar with the control, I am a newbie with it.

Turns out this is a PLC tweak, not in the controller. We will have this taken care of next week. I'm going with 1/2 hour of inactivity.

If it is a PLC tweak I'd go for time and hitting any limit shuts down immediately.
