Hurco VMX 24S Pc to Dbp connection.

Hello all

First post here, please go easy on me.

I have purchase a used Hurco Vmx 24S with Ultimax 4 (Not winmax)control.
I believe i got a good deal, and while i am waiting for the power company to provide me enough power to run the machine, I am trying to anticipate connection issues with the control.
Machine is not USB or Ethernet compatible so I am only limited to RS232 and Diskette.
I would like to connect a laptop or workstation to the machine and I am looking for advice from Hurco users.
I am considering purchasing a Grizzly cable( Predator Software Inc. - Not Found Predator) and the Hurco adapter( Predator Hurco Adapters - Predator Software Inc. ) , however if it seems to fit good on the machine side but how do i connect it to the computer if USB is the only option out? Has anyone use this?

I am interested in hearing how other hurco users have it connected.
