I get a loud "knock" exactly every 4 minutes from the hydraulics. Sounds like maybe a valve is going out, or cycling really fast. Or possibly a leaky fitting?

Error #2 light flickers for 1/2 second during the knock. Happens regardless of the chuck clamping position.
Anyone seen/heard this before and have a suggestion of how to solve it?

Nearly jump out of my skin everytime, when it happens when doing setup on the machine.

Per above, a lubrication cycle issue. Try adjusting the volume on the oiler. It makes sense that you have an error light simultaneously as it indicates when the way lube pump has an error (over voltage, no voltage et al).
