I am new to Mastercam, and not familiar with how to Waterline
program, but I am looking for a small
snippet of Waterline G-Code that I can look at as an example.
Just something small, like a rectangle, say,
4" long by 3" wide by .500" depth, but using the
Waterline method from the top of the part to
the depth. It could be a profile or pocket, doesn't matter,
OR if someone already has a some small 3D body programmed
with the Waterline method.

Any help would be appreciated....

thanks,

That's about the easiest 3D path to use. What exactly are you wanting to know? How to chain it ?

Basically you pick your solid, set cut step over/step down, depth limits, and tolerance/filter.

Years ago I got into a project that needed a bunch of 3D stuff.. I ordered up Mike Materras
CD's.. I may have spent the majority of a entire day watching them (on the clock), but the CD's
and non-productive time paid for itself with in a week. All kinds of stuff you never even
thought about in there, and if you need a refresher on something you are doing, its only a
few clicks away.
