Hello
Thank you for entering
I need a help to fix my probe
The type of probe I am using does not turn when it probes so it do touch the ball on 4 points, consequently the run out of the ball needs to be adjusted.
I need to say that one day I did drop it, I did not hit it on the machine but it is just dropped and I did break the stylus, however I was able to recalibrate it and it works fine, but if I do set a spindle speed 50rev/min, I can see that all the body of this probe runs out, but I still manage to calibrate the runout of the ball.
I am using this probe on a rotating head machine and if I do use it horizontally does not work as good as vertically I guess because of the gravity
I am not sure if I did damage something when it dropped, however What could I do to fix the run out of the body probe?
Thank you very much in advance for your support
