Hi,

Today I was reading a safety sheet on some material we use a lot of for spot welding tools, it's a product like Tufnol, but made in Denmark by a company named Elektro Isola. The dust and particles is under some regulations because of the risk of developing cancer, and lung disease is also an issue with this stuff.

I and my colleagues have been machining this stuff without masks or anything, for some it's decades they have been working with this.

So, from one day to another it's been decided that this stuff has to be machined in the CNC mills with the coolant on, and not anywhere else in the shop.

So, my Q's.

Best workholding? Vacuum table maybe? Aluminium end mills for machining, or something else with a fancy coating?

Cheers, Daniel
