Ever hear of ANS 14.1-1957?

It seems to be a standard that defines a radius undercut behind a thread.

However, I can find nothing about it on Google. . .

It's on a drawing Im considering quoting.

Anyone ever heard of such a thing?

<edit> That should be ANS 14.6. . .</edit>
 
This standard has been renumbered as ANSI/ASME Y14.6 and the current version is Y14.6-2001. It covers "Screw Thread Representation", or how to draw them, not how to make them. Actual dimensional controls of screw threads would probably be in some ANSI B1.xx series standard.
