Hello all,

Here is the scenario..

running my cnc lathe out of my garage on a 3 phase converter and transformer.

Getting some alarms ill post the pics.

fanuc 0i-tc control with 2007 emco e 45 with only 3500 hrs.

Checking my electrical coming into the machine from the transformer-

* ground to wire 1, 240-245 volts
* ground to wire 2, 250 volts
* ground to wire 3, 250 volts

*wire 1 to wire 2, 413-425 volts
*wire 2 to wire 3, 433ish volts
*wire 1 to wire 3, 435 volts

NOW when I check the wires when I turn the spindle on from lets say 0-2000 rpm in particular wire 1 to wire 2 drops to about 395-400 volts which is below the +-10%

Could this be why I am getting such alarms posted in the pics?

I didnt get these alarms for the past year but all of a suddens started getting some random alarms.. for some reason I think the electrical has something to do with it.

Also alarm not pictured which may be another electrical problem
Fanuc 9031 spn 2: motor lock or v-sig los
-drive alarm 31

Thanks for your help,
Alex

I try to keep the voltages between 4% of the lowest voltage.
Have you recently added any single phase loads? You may need to balance out any single phase loads.
