Mori seiki lathe leveling pad

I am looking for a leveling pad (mounts on the turret)for a mori-seiki cnc lathe. Model # is SL-2 I would like to buy or even rent one. Can any one help me out with this??? Thank you. Al

Hello.

Don’t know if this helps you out, if I'm guessing right you’re looking for the set up piece that allows you to level across the bed, in the X axis direction.

Don’t know if this helps, but we have gotten out of trouble before by using a sine bar or sign table to do the same thing. Just set it to the incline angle of the bed. And place it on the register face.

Do I remember correctly, there’s a machined face on the top of the turret housing?

By my reckoning that exact angle is not so critical, as long as you don’t have a twist in the bed as the saddle traverses the Z axis.

Hope this helps, as a sine bar or table should be easier to lay your hands on.

I just recently bought a mori SL3h, I have the leveling pad, be happy to loan it to ya. thing weighs about 20 or so pounds. Im pretty sure its compatible with the 2-h machine. let me know, my e adress is posted here
