Has anyone seen the new Mori NL series turning center? I myself was quite impressed. They had a 1" indexable end mill taking a .300" depth of cut full dia. and it seemed as rigid as a Cat 40 machining center. I am looking into buying, but our shop owner has always been keyed on Mazak. Good machine, but I don't think a Mazak can take cuts like that and not fall apart. Anyone ever seen a Mazak doing anything like this? Any info will be appreciated.
