    New Machine came in today, cant wait to fire it up.

    Awesome machine! I saw one at ellison's open house a couple years ago without the sheetmetal, the machine is a beast.

    It has 91 tools
    12000 rpm HT spindle
    1200 rpm turning option
    Esprit full 5 axis cam software
    Touch setter
    In machine measuring probe
    It also has bt40 dual contact spindle

    Job shop or product? Can you share some pics of what this beast is building? Whats the travels? 24x24 cube?

    You can say that again. The 1200rpm turning option alone costs more than a Haas VF-5!

    We are a job shop, we have some impeller work coming up.

    I would be real excited to get some fixtures running on that.

    Are you a seasoned Esprit user, if so what pro and cons do you have about the software and support?

    New to esprit as well as 5 axis, I normally use mastercam. I have to learn it pretty fast.

    Sam - just curious - why BT40 rather than CAT40? (All of the other options make perfect sense to me.)
