Hi All,
We are a family owned outfit . Just Purchased 2 new machines .
We run Miyanos ABX up to 64mm (the 4 have triple turrets)
Requiring a smaller type of machine to run the smaller faster' cycle timed parts.
Purchased a 38mm (1 1/2")Tornos Delta this could be bought either' as a slider or fixed head.
we opted for the Fixed head option.
The Tornos ST 26 (see u/tube demos)was a steal at the price and can run Both as a
Slider OR a Fixed head from 1" down and can go from 0-10000 revs in a sec. (and stop/rev.) .We had a Deco
but these machines are not that versatile so we got rid of it.
We can transfer part / full programmes from all machines to each other with a little alteration.
The new smaller machines are paying dividens knocking down the easier machining material times by 20% per part.
and all the setting times have fallen considerably.
