I'm looking to add a prototype/ small run CNC mill to my very small shop. I'm considering a Hurco Hawk that is for sale nearby. It was removed from a working shop when the shop closed and has been in climate controlled storage for a few months. I've used the Protorack before and the Supermax, but not the Hurco. The Hawk is a bed mill and seems like a good compromise between a full VMC. I'm on a very tight budget and I don't have the space for a full sized VMC. I'd like to hear people's opinions and experience with the Hawk. Anything buggy, bad about the controller? I'll mostly be doing conversational stuff to start. Any advice would be appreciated.

My Hawk is a knee-type, right before they switched to the bed-type. Also has the dual screens.. I love it, just the trick for quick onesy-twosies. There were some program options that were fairly expensive. 3-D, DXF reader, UltiPocket Island avoidance, were the main ones. Worth a bit more if it has any or all of those.
