We are using a probe in some of our processing on some parts to measure the bore face depths. Then output the data to a computer screen for the operator to view and keep track of. for some reason the data will not show up on the screen until the computer program is closed out and then re-opened. Once that is done the new data shows right up on the top of the screen. We are at a loss as to what is going on and why the screen is not updating automatically. This is a screen shot of what the 'options' are that are checked. We have tried some other checked lines with no improvement in the process. We are open to suggestions on this. Kind of a pain for the operator to have to close out the program then re-open it to see the data that the probe sent to the computer. We have two machines set up like this that are acting the same way with both computers. The frustrating thing is that the first one was working fine until the night shift operator changed something in the PC's DNC program then didn't remember what he did to make it the way it is now.
