Hi all.
I am trying to tweak my post for my CAM software, but I don't have anything to compare my generated code to.
I have a sample program for side drilling, but that is about it.
I am hopeful some members can post some sample programs (nothing proprietary or anything) that I can use to learn the idiosyncrasy's of the control.
I have a few hurdles to overcome to start generating code for this machine.
1) I don't know Okuma lathe (specific) G-code. I understand G-code & code for Haas, Milltronics, & Hurco but not Okuma
2) I've never dealt with live tooling before, and the various codes & arguments for each
3) The Okuma manuals leave a LOT to be desired. (as do most machine manuals)
4) Trying to learn all of the above, & a "new to me" lathe CAM system while running my company is becoming a stressful situation!
Thanks,
Doug.
