    Hello All,

Does anyone know how to reposition the the zero (Home Position) on this or a similar servo?

Currently the zero position is with the stage on the ball screw at the extreme left of it's travel.

My operation and programming would be much more efficient if the zero would be with the stage at the extreme right of it's travel.

This application does not have hard stops or home switches. Positional deviation limits are set in the parameters.

    The servo setting screen shows:

    X Axis
    Initial Set Bits 1010
    Motor ID 15
    AMR 00000000
    CMR 2
    Feed gear N 1
    (N/M) M 200
    Direction Set 111
    Velocity Pulse No. 8192
    Position Pulse No. 12500
    Ref. Counter 10000

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it greatly.

    Thanks

I know how it is done on the 0 and later, The info I have for the 3 is for a few param that refer to reference point return, the one that changes the direction of homing is P0006 bit 0 & 1 (XZ) for the lathe, I imagine it would be 0,1,2 for the Mill.
wether automatic is done or not is P0012 bit 7.

Thanks, but I don't have P0006 on this unit.
