Default Resetting Fanuc 0Ta Soft Limits

In a moment of slight insanity I bought a 1988 Colchester 2000L lathe from a friend who was shuttering his retirement/hobby shop. I know it is not the fastest or most useful machine in the world, but I had to no bid a couple of good jobs last year that were too long to run on the other lathes. Sometime in the past it lost the battery for the encoders and now the soft limits are are off. The position shows correctly (I did the reset procedure I found in the back of the book), and holding down p/q and cancel at boot allow it to jog around like it should, but without it I am getting overtravel alarms about 2 feet too soon. Anyone know the trick for correcting the softlimits on a Fanuc 0Ta?

Don't quote me as I don't have the yellow books in front of me...Have a look around the 700 paramaters by memory. The X and Z figures I think are there to change.

    That's where they are in my parameter book. 700 thru 707. 700 = X, 701 = Z.

Because it has battery backup the encoders should be abs, if that's the case the encoder's zero may need to be reset.
