The screen on my Fanuc control went crazy today - it changed colors, flashed and eventually degraded to streaks. While trying to back up the parameters onto a memory card before I lost anything, I discovered the soft keys below the screen had been hit with a spray of coolant from a hairline crack on the backside of the hose flowing onto a part I was machining. The keys getting wet might have caused the screen problem and I’m wondering what hope I have in the screen working tomorrow after the keys dry out.
