Hello
We are a small company located in Guatemala, Central America.
We are mainly heat treaters but also have a ROMI G20 and produce small punching tools for the plastic industry.
We need another machine but there are some much models and brands that I don´t know where to start !!

We are looking for a second hand small ( max 20 HP) CNC lathe, equipped with Fanuc, livetooling, tailstock, easy to find parts and support …of course quite economical !
After google investigations, I ve found that options for us could be :
Hardinge Talent 6/45
Hardinge Quest 6/42
Hardinge GS42
Kia SKT 15 LMS
PUMA 200M
Mazak SQ10 M

IS there a machine/brand that I forgot ?
Is there a machine better than another one in my listing ?
Would somebody help me and suggest me a machine ?
( why so much type of Hardinge ?)

Any help would be very appreciated !
Thanks
Andre

I can't suggest a machine for you. In my experience, I have nothing but good to say about Hardinge easy to operate, fast to setup, good parts availability. The Mazak guys on here will tell you that's the way to go, I can't argue with them.

You say max 20 hp?? So more would be bad?? I doubt any of those machines except the Mazak maybe even has 20 hp.

Maybe look at MTB's like Star and Citizen.
