TPC2100 control modification

I have a older cnc with a tpc2100 control does anyone know a way where I could replace the floppy drive with either some sort of usb hookup not a floppy to usb because that’s just as bad as a floppy. Or switch it over to like a CF card reader drive. Just wondering if anyone has done this before.

is that the same as an acromatic 2100? I believe it is.

if so I never bothered looking for USB options, just banged a network card in the back of mine, a bit of messing around to get the IP address correct.

its standard pc components (all be it old) so fairly easy to get most things working if your handy (or know someone that is) with computers!
