I am a cnc lathe operator and have been increasing a company production from my past experience on a huge fpt finisher that the company used as a boring mill. I am wondering what people have found to be the best inserts to use for ruffing, finishing, milling, parting and grooving stainless on a cnc lathe. Currently turning and milling using sandvik turning tools and a mill except iv'e been using walther parting tool. what grades should be used and such would help a lot too. i am currently using Austenitic stainless steel also. happy machining!
