I have been using a company in Portland to supply aluminum pipe and tube to lengths for the CNC machines. They have done these in the past and the parts were just fine but now they are whining... pieces too short, tolerances, etc. Getting these correct is important since I have tooling and programs all ready to go.

3.0" OD x 2.25 ID cut to .575" (+.063 - 0.0) (need several 20' lengths cut)
2" schedule 80 cut to 2.5" long (+.063 - 0.0) (need several 20' lengths cut)

I'm in WA State but would gladly go to CA.

Suggestions?

Place I retired from had our own saws for most all work. When we needed something we could not do ourselves we used Production Sawing in Tigard, Or. (outskirts of Portland).

when I need things cut RIGHT, I use these guys. CUTTING SPECIALISTS, INC. – Metal Cutting & Machine Shop
you get what you pay for- most suppliers have a fifteen dollar an hour guy running a horizontal bandsaw that has been rode hard and put away wet.
cutting specialists has a building full of incredibly accurate saws, and the parts are what you asked for.
Last time I was there, they were cutting 1/4" x 16" x 96" slabs off a real Billet of Inconel.
They wont complain about tolerances, and neither will you.

I have a nearby machine shop do my production sawing, with their Cosen autosaw. They have been consistent, reliable, and economical. They buy a lot of Al so they get good material pricing. I can send you their contact info if you’re interested.

Regards.

Mike
