    Oh, sorry I forget this.
    The FP3NC has a Dialog 4 control.

I also tried to run the NSV 56 Board seperatly (Just the green connector in the board for the 24V supply).
But then the fuse also blows. It seems that something on the NSV Board is broken or make a short circuit.

Does anyone have schematics for the D4 control boards? (Hi Ross). I know they exist for the D3 set but maybe this is a good time to collect those for the D4 and then I'll be ready to do some fixing there.

exept my card is marked NSV55.
In my orange book I have the schematics for NSV 56
    and the component layout.
If you have solved the problem I would be glad to know
    the solution.
If you want to I can copy the drawings and mail them to you .
By the way, I have tried to change some of the big capasitors

Is the Problem still there ?

Typical on the NSV Cards is that the supply voltage and the generated voltage is monitored.
If one of these voltages is (much) to high the NSV Card itself protects and blows the fuse.

As these cards are a older, there are components on it which "die".
Repaired one card last week and found the following components destroyed: Main Transistor in the FUSE-Line , One Z-Diode of the 5V Monitoring Side defect.
The Z-Diode was optical OK but electrical shorted.

So if you are sure that the supply voltages isn't to high the NSV card is bad.
If you need further information please contact me direct. Mail-address see below.
