I always wanted to own a three dimensional Deckel like a model KF2 for my retirement garage shop. For duplicating one-off parts when restoring my antique cars. But wasn’t able to come to terms on one. Them I purchased this monster. I figure, if a KF2 would do the job, What can a couple more tons of iron hurt?
First off I have to get it cleaned and oiled then wired in. It’s wired for 480 Volt three-phase. I need to either change over all the motors and controls to 240 Volt or add a sizeable three-phase transformer.
Then learn why so many old timers raved about the Deckel. Hopefully someone is familiar with this machine can be of help…
