Interesting that the poster feels it is better than a Deckel. It appears that he does not know much about Deckel and has no knowledge of the SOE as he seems to compare apples with bananas.

Found the problem of my putting up the IMG and it does not apply to GIFs specifically.

In Photobucket, when clicking on a thumb nail and it opens the full size picture, it ADDS
?action=view&current=
in front of the actual picture name.

Clicking on my browser TinyURL link after clicking on the Photobucket thumb nails includes the above line and this 'whole' URL will NOT display the picture if put between the image tags.
Under the Photobucket thumb nail there is an "Img" field and I should have just copied that and put it between the IMG tags in my post.

I had asked Sean to delete two of my triplicate post.

Yesterday I found the reason for my duplication of posts.
When I did not see the image, I clicked the "Back" button on my browser, made the changes I thought necessary and clicked on send.
Well, I should have looked at my message and EDITED it, because every time I made changes and sent it, it was entered as an additional message although the number did not change.

I have now even been able to put a clickable thumb nail in my 'posted 19 July, 2005 20:50' message at "what's this thing do".
