    Default MAHO book: super excellent!

Just got it and only have a 10min leaf through.
    But DAMN its excellent!
It seem to cover every aspect of the Maho history. Its company history focused, not a machinery brochure.
I already see it as a must-have for someone interested in german machine tool history AND who speaks german.
More later, but it will be impossible to go into all the details. Its just too much details. to the author

    thanks for amazon link.
amazon.us could not reference either ISBN 10 or ISBN 13.
amazon.de had one volume remaining in stock so i pulled trigger.
hope you got there before me.

While I recommend the book to the interested, I did say that you have to read german pretty well. The book has many pictures, but they are only to support the text and are too small to stand on their own.
I got mine on amazon.de, but I have an address in Germany. Mine was actually half price because of a wrinkled corner and thus declared "used".

on edit: the legal issues delaying the publication where apparently solved by the application of a sticker on a back page.
