New (to me...) Aciera F4

Nice catch!
From what I know, round head model was in production from '50s 'till early 70's.Then appeared the rectangular model which is more beautiful in my eyes.
Propably peter from holland and rklopp know something more...

Mine from the late 70s is #45087. It is a square-casting machine, but not the very last incarnation. Mine has the quill pinion lever on the the right side of the vertical head. The last generation has it on the front.

Also found this order receipt.

Another interesting point is the remark at the very bottom of the order receipt, which translates to "No-cost exchange, please monitor the tolerances carefully". Perhaps an earlier machine that was shipped to AVN did not meet the tolerance specifications or was damaged in transport, and so your machine was then sent as a replacement.

Cheers,
Bruce

Thank you Bruce for the translation.
Today was settlement day. Replace oil, fix the cabin with accessories, some cutters that came with the machine etc.
Only one snapshot from the leveling procedure.
Best regards
Kyriakos

SK 30 toolholder stand

Just made a stand for the Aciera's cones and clamps.
60x120 aluminum section and melamine for support.
I saw this shelf on an ebay listing and liked the idea of clamps underneath.
