Lathes UK-Deckel FP-1 Section.
A terrific overall site. This link gives overall information on the Deckel FP-1 and the author's opinion of the FP-1.
Lathes UK - Alexander Section
This link also from "Lathes UK" but has additional information including the Alexander clone of the Deckel FP-1
Google Deckel Images
This is a Google image search for Deckel. Many people do not know about this feature of Google.
Because "Deckel" also means "top" or "lid" in German, the results are mixed with various hats and tupperware lids, but you should also be able to find some cool Deckel milling machine pictures from around the world.
For What its worth, this is the Deckel/Maho/Gildemeister (DMG) US homepage.
Parts and resources can still be had here although they mostly cater to later model machines.
Been suggesting these guys for years. Have used them for Deckel parts on the older machinees.
Their web site is in German only, and they have an e-mail link, but they are very poor about responding to it.
I use FAX and i usually get a response the next working day. Not cheap (nothing Deckel is) but prices better than DMG, and they understand the older machines,
Veltman machines The Netherlands
At the moment we have Deckel Aciera Maho Schaublin Prvomajska Avia werner Milling machines AI Hembrug Leinen lathes Aba Cristen and Reime grinders

On the homepage click "gebruikt" for used machinery
So you can learn some dutch in the proces
(Englisch site is comming soon)
The DeckelDapter Sleeve is available to allow the use of R-8 collets and tooling in your Morse 4 spindle FP1.
This address is very good for electronic problems, also older Deckel machines.
Maschinex Ilyas Dogan e.K.
This is a great site to see hundreds of Deckels of all types (keep clicking on "Weitere Treffer" at the bottom of each page). Many of the deckels have photos, some have 5 or 6, so lots of research possibilities here to identify differences between model years.
Maschinex Ilyas Dogan e.K is a dealer who advertises on this site

Looks pretty boring to me....main machine is the worst possible Deckel, a 1981 FP2A (a point to point CNC) There have been way more interesting auctions with Deckels in them right here in the USA than that one.

I always like auctions or sales that have a lot with a cabinet full of tooling.
Over 200 lots in that linked auction. All super clean.
Hard to find something like that anywhere.
