Deckel Graviermaschine GNC1 | eBay
It's "just" an engraver, but possibly the rarest Deckel ever officially offered.
So it is worth to look at it while it is up.

I never even heard of a working one, though there are a very few defunct ones around.

I've never noticed Singer doing an outside photo shoot before....perhaps this one needed some vitamin D ? "On" screen shots would be interesting.

Martin: if I am correct you once bought a Deckel LK from Franz. You still have that? Ever used or powered it up?

Still have it, never powered up, sitting in a corner. Seems decent, but needs the little round drive belts for the table feeds.

The shot of that little rotary table thing shows a small 3 jaw chuck that appears to be tightened using "tommy bars". Anyone know the story on those little
chucks??

Hi Stuart, lever scroll chucks were/are common on clockmakers lathes the likes of Schaublin 70, also on small rotary tables as offered for engravers.
