Default Gildemeister Twin 42

We have an issue with the sub-spindel, the rotor is damaged this is a common problem with this type of machine, does anybody know where to buy this motor at reasonble price? DMG is way too expensive!

Gildemeister is F. up
They want $800 for 1 belt 2 meter long - open

Can you repair broken one?
Most of the stuf on gildemeister we repair at some local shops. We have too many gildemeisters
One Sprint65 , i noticed every time i turn power On Sub and main spindle doesn't start right away ...they kind of jump back and fort(M3 & M4) before full rotation(M3).
Is this a sign off motor going off

It could be a sing of your spindle going bad, I been working with this type of machines for the past eight years and I had seen all kinds of problems with them, make sure that you do some priventative maintenance to your spindle air ducts they really help to keep your spindles running smoothly.

A company in Germany named Franz Kessler Gmbh, they build really niece pieces of equipment the big disadvantage with them is that you cannot get any spare parts to repair anything.

Default Hi

First check if motor is short to earth(my guess it is) and if the ohm is right.
if I remember there is the same(identical) power-modul for the spindles 2x50A or 2x80A
it would have been a good idea to swich first the servo-card between the power-modules and if still same then swich it back agin and swich the whole power-module for the spindles and check if the error moves (follow's the module)
If it masureīs short to ground, Id just buy a rebuild one from DMG or if you plan to put it in your self then pay the extra buck and go for a new one. itīs prop. gona cost you some 30K.
Good luck
