Mori Seiki MS850 leveling

I recently bought a 1982 MS850 and I'm wondering if the machined flats on top of the headstock and tailstock are parallel to each other.

I leveled (X,Z) with the level on the headstock, then moved to the bed and leveled the ways (X,Z) to within .0005 from end to end. *Using (Z) reference from headstock, (X) with shims across ways due to offset.
I then set the level on the cross slide and tailstock, they both show 0.010 (X) tilt from the headstock down the length of the bed.

Just curious if these areas are supposed to be parallel or if I've done something wrong?

Thanks guys

None of them need to be parallel for any particular reason. Put your precision level on top of the cross slide. Move the carriage from one end to the other. Adjust until you see no movement of the bubble from one end to the other. That's all there is to it.
