Best EDM Book??

Hello,
I have seen a few books offered on the internet about EDM technology. In your experience, what book do you think is best for EDM learning??

I'm sure there are some good general books, but for info. on a specific machine, you just can't beat the factory manuals that usually come with each machine. I've run Charmilles, Eltee, Sodick and Agie burners and the manuals have always been 1st class. Each machine has different overburns and burn rates at different settings. The factory manuals will have charts and graphs that show this and explain it in great detail. I'm not sure of a general EDM book to recommend if that's what you are after.

Thanks for the reply Barry. I agree, the machine manuals can be a good source for specific info. Some companies put more effort into the manuals then others.

Try this one.. EDM handbook by E. Bud Guitrau.. I would suggest checking out your library or trade school and see if this has the information you are looking for before you lay out the folding green stuff for it.
