Lightbulb Charmilles Roboform 200

We just recently purchased a '92 Roboform 200. It came with all the measurement cycles but did not come with the tooling balls (for doing electrode offsets). We use alot of square electrode sticks so I fabricated some holders on our high speed machining centers for 1/2" sticks. I went ahead a fabricated some tooling balls (1 for the table - 1 for the spindle). The centers are within .001" on all my holders. The holders I created will accept up to a 3/4" stick so I just use the measurement cycles with the tooling ball to create the offset.

Do many of you use the tooling balls? Or have you all created your own electrode holders so the electrode is exactly on center?

I used to run a Roboform 810, and I bought the tooling balls and made adaptors to put them on a magnetic base. Short one, and a long one. Worked great-----------------John
