I will be needing flat washers of carbon steel, 2 3/4 OD", 1/2" ID thickness .075" to .2"
Concentric with good 1/2" bore to turn on axle... ( Can we hold +.002" ?? )

Just a couple hundred to start.
Still in material selection.

Not in pac-west, and not Edm, but maybe try Brewster washers in New Jersey. We did work for them back in the day and this kind of work is their forte.

Before that Brewster Washers place got their own wire, we would wire runs of less than 1000 parts on things they didn't want to build tools for, or were too thin. So it isn't without precedent.

Well, you see..... I can do that myself. Have a nice little CNC lathe too. And a couple three manuals.
I want someone who can do it cheaper than me, and I know they are out there.
I am already 1.50 and 2.50 per washer, and I doubt that is the bottom. Waterjet, leaving .03 cleanup, which is fine.
I don't need to ship any material to Alaska to throw in in the scap bin either.. so there is a consideration.
So, cut from sheet, close as availabele to finish thickness. I can second op the od, id, thickness...
Still save shipping scrap.
But thanks!
Mark
