Not sure what is going on but I use the R1 tech in my A-0ib Wire with no problems at all but when trying to use this in my A-1ic machine it always throws a reverse alarm.
My pilot hole is plenty big and the wire isn’t making contact with the steel.
Has anyone found a solution to this issue?
Thank you in advance!

Without a short condition I'm stumped. I was thinking maybe the R1 tech uses a D that's too large for your entry with cutter comp, but then you would get an interference alarm or something. That's assuming this happens during the first move?

Why would the path reverse with no short? I'm starting to think parameter or something now...

Yea I am stumped. Tried doing a few different things and nothing seemed to work. Ended up using A1 which is fine but the die sections I was cutting out are just clearance and don’t mean squat.
I checked through the parameter settings and seen nothing that makes any sense.

Ended up being a ground wire posted incorrectly to the lower head after I rebuilt it. The guys from Methods came by and sent a pic and saw the issue. R1 is working good now.
