Greasing cycle in wireedm- charmilles model

Hello everyone.
would you kindly guide about greasing cycle to be carried out in WIREEDM with details for :
1. Recommanded grade of grease
2. Frequency of greasing cycle
3. Method of greasing

Simply follow the manuals instructions and use the Charmilles grease, at least if if has Charmilles grease now... Do not mix grease types. Good luck determining what it has now.

the "greasing cycle" is not actually greasing anything. it simply moves every axis to full travel to make sure there is not excessive drag indicating lack of grease or some binding.

the actual greasing method is really poor, there are no grease fittings for the axis, at least on mine. you simply wipe as much old grease off of the rails as possible and smear new grease on. I jog the axis to opposite ends of travel and get both sides of each rail. use something lint free. fingers work best.

Dont try to do it yourself while the machine is moving in the greasing cycle. good way to get yourself crushed.

Blasolube is the type of grease your machine requires. The frequency is determined by the type of your machine and mandated by an internal clock based on hours of program execution. The method of greasing is:

1. Remove old excess grease from guide ways and needle bearings with lint-free towels.
2. Liberally apply new Blasolube to guide ways and needle bearings.
3. If you have grease nipples use a grease gun and slowly fill the grease nipples with Blasolube (usually 3-6 pumps).
4. If you have a band, Grease Nipples would also be a pretty cool name.

Warning: Many Charmilles machines will stop and not allow machining if you ignore the Greasing Mandatory message.
