I've cut several of the other Ampco grades without the nickel, and they cut dreamy. All of them are 80-90 percent copper. I didn't find them too smutty like straight aluminum is, but I'm sure your tank will need a cleaning and your filter life may be slightly diminished as suggested. I didn't see a lot of stress relief issues, but as I recall I did have to compensate for some overburn by doing some test cuts to get my offsets just right.
