Having problems with the wire speed on this new to us machine. Got it set to 10 in the epack but it is spinning at what seems to be max speed when the wire feed is turned on, sometimes breaking the wire even. Is there another setting that needs to be set for this? Also spins at max speed when doing an edge touch. So we can't really set it up to cut a part. What makes me think it's another setting is it does not spin fast when manually threading the wire with the wire collect button on. Any help appreciated

Sounds like your adjusting the wire tension or another setting and not the wire speed.

Ended up being stuck brushes in the motor that pulls the wire. Three of the four were stuck in their guides. Took apart and freed them up. Good as new for now.

Where was that motor located? We have a QA-10 that is starting to give us wire breakage problems almost out of no where. We just got the machine about a month ago and its messing up on jobs we've already ran numerous times without issues.
