I tried the Henrob torch a long time ago and was quite impressed. In poking around for one I see that they have been sold as Cobra, Dillon, and Henrob. They also seem to be sold with various amounts of attachments and wizmos and gizmos.
Any thoughts on which version is better and why? And how many of the bells and whistles are needed.
I plan to cut and weld steel, and weld aluminum.
thanks,

I can't comment on the different versions but I saw a demo at a car show and it was pretty impressive. I think it was a Dillion.

I couldn't find a comfortable way to hold it - everything (pencil grip around the tip, upside down, etc) felt awkward. It is also bulky, and the straight tip made it hard to get into the tight spots where you are trying to go a little bit around the back of a corner.

It didn't seem to do anything special that I could see. I don't flame cut, so I didn't try that. Maybe that is a strong suit for it, but if so, why not get a plasma cutter or something designed specifically for cutting?

YMMV,
Michael
