I've just bought a new Miller Syncrowave 250 DX. I don't understand why the pulser is optional on this machine, but it is. It seems that all the other higher end machines include the pulser as standard. The pulser board is field installable, so I figure I might install one at later date if the a project calls for it.
I've never used a machine with a pulser, I understand this feature is useful when welding light gage material.
My question is; Is this feature that useful that I should bother at all? Is there some reason that Miller didn't include this as standard, and did on the other machines?
